How to Use Door Lock: Access Control Request

Description

Door Lock Administration will no longer be taking request from individuals or using the following services as of 8/29/2022:

  • Door Lock: General Door Lock Service Request 

  • Door Lock: Request a New Electronic Door Lock 

  • Door Lock: Request a Change to a Door Schedule  

  • Door Lock: New Installation/Change Door Capability 

  • Door Lock: A Person Needs Access to a Door

From now on the "Door Lock: Access Control Request (6/24/2022)" service will be used to capture all requests. Details about how to use the new service and who can use it can be found below.

Resolution

Users:

Please contact your Door Access Area Owner if you are requesting changes to a door lock. Door locks may only be changed when requested by a Door Access Area Owner, not an individual or supervisor. If you do not know who your Door Access Area Owner is, call your supervisor or email Sherry Purdue. When emailing Door Lock Administration, be sure to include your building and supervisor’s name.

Door Access Area Owners:

With the implementation of this new service it is important for Door Access Area Owners to update their management and spread the word in their area. The old form is temporarily available to help with communications until 8/28. After this date, the form will no longer be available.

Note: Door Lock Administration will only create door lock changes from Door Access Area Owners.
