How to Approve "Domain" Requests

Description

Approving Domain Request steps on the client side: requester ticket will send an email to all employee's responsible for the approval step.

Resolution

Follow these steps to approve the request for a new domain:

  1. Open your TeamDynamix email with subject called: TDX <ticket number> Service Request Created Domain 
  2. Click on link in email labeled "Domain request approved? workflow step" 
  3. System will ask you to sign on to wichita.teamdynamix.com with myWSUid#@wichita.edu, pwd; authenticate with DUO
  4. The ticket will automatically open to the approval page
  5. Click on either Approve or Reject button

NOTE:  Only one of the three people needs to approve the ticket after internal StratComm / IDP discussions.

Approval will send / assign the ticket to the Networking group to be completed.  Once completed, the Network group will close the ticket and notify requester.

Rejection will cancel the ticket and return the following email: 

"Your request has been reviewed according to Wichita State University policy 19.21 and the request was not approved.  Normally WSU Strategic Communications will already have been in contact to discuss your request; this automated email is merely indicating closure of your ticket.  If you have any further questions, you may contact Tim Hart in Strategic Communications."
