Installation of MatLab Instructions

Windows

1. Navigate to the file: Engr_software\College_Apps. If you can not locate it, it may need to be mapped to your computer. In which case please see the Mapping a Network Drive article. 
2. Select the latest Matlab option
3. Select which Matlab you wish to install, usually listed as classroom or research. 
4. Copy the license file to the desktop. 
5. Copy the installation key to your clipboard
6. Go back to the Matlab folder and click the installation folder
7. Double click the setup
8. Enter in the file key from your clipboard when necessary. 
9. Copy the path to the desktop license file when necessary. 
10. Wait for it to install. 

Mac

1. WSUTechs_Share/MAC/Software -  Restricted License/MATLAB/
2. Select the latest Matlab option
3. Select which Matlab you wish to install, usually listed as classroom or research. 
4. Copy the license file to the desktop. 
5. Copy the installation key to your clipboard
6. Go back to the Matlab folder and run the .dmg installer
7. Enter in the file key from your clipboard when necessary. 
8. Copy the path to the desktop license file when necessary. 
9. Wait for it to install.
