Elective courses are classes outside of or in addition to your major requirements. Electives can be used to reach the minimum number of hours required to graduate. Your advisor can assist you in choosing elective courses.
Elective courses are not categorized in the Catalog or Schedule of Courses. Students are encouraged to see their advisor to make sure electives are applicable to their specific graduation requirements. Engineering students must have technical elective courses approved by their faculty advisor. The number of electives vary depending on the major.
