Have you received my FAFSA?

After you complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), the WSU Office of Financial Aid typically receives your information within 3 to 5 business days.

If additional items are needed before processing your FAFSA, you will be notified via your WSU email. After all requested items are completed and reviewed, you will be notified of your eligibility. Refer to: How and when will I be contacted about my financial aid offer?.

How to review whether Wichita State has received your FAFSA:

1. Log into the student portal mywsu.wichita.edu. Select the myFinances tab and then Financial Aid Dashboard under Financial Aid Links.
2. Using the drop-down box, choose the appropriate aid year.
3. Under the Student Requirements - Satisfied Requirements section, you should see FAFSA Application Received with a green check mark and the date Wichita State loaded it into the system.
4. If additional documentation is needed before processing your FAFSA, they will be listed under the Student Requirements – Unsatisfied Requirements section.
