My parents filed a tax extension. What do we need for verification?

We do not accept extensions to file except under limited circumstances.

Those limited circumstances include the following:

• Serving in a combat zone or a qualified hazardous duty area;
• Living outside of the U.S.;
• Living in a federally declared disaster area; or
• Needing an extension to pay U.S. estate or generation-skipping transfer taxes.

Please contact the Office of Financial Aid for required documentation if student/parent meets one of the circumstances above.
