What services do you have for students with disabilities?

Body

There are many services available for students with disabilities at Wichita State University.

Office of Student Accommodation and Testing
Services include software programs for the visually impaired, assistance with note-taking, testing services, transportation and much more. Our services are available during the hours of 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 7 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday. For transportation assistance beyond these hours, you should contact the University Police Department at 316-978-3450.

Special Services for Students with Disabilities
All students with disabilities need to call (316) 978-3309 and schedule an intake with the director before services can be provided.

  • If the student does not have documentation readily available they can meet with the director and services may be provided until documentation can be obtained.
  • All faculty have been informed that until they receive information from the Office of Student Accommodation and Testing accommodations are not to be provided.
