How will my payment plan be adjusted if I change my enrollment?

Body

Once you set up a payment plan, any changes made to your course schedule may have an effect on your upcoming payments. The $130 down payment is non-refundable. Adjustments to your payment plan will occur at 6 a.m. the following day and notification will be sent to your WSU email account.

If you have financial aid that disburses after you have set up a payment plan, WSU will apply your aid to your payments until funds are exhausted. If your financial aid does not completely cover your payment plan, your remaining payments will stay the same.

Drop a class
If you drop a class within a refund period, this is considered a change to your course schedule, and your upcoming payments will be adjusted at 6 a.m. the following day based on the percentage of refund available to you.

If you drop a class and it is not within a refund period, your payments will remain the same.

Drop/Add a class
If you drop and add a class at the same time and the credit hours and course type are the same, there may be no adjustment to your account and your payment plan will not change. However, if there is a difference in credit hours or course type, there may either be an increase or decrease included in your next scheduled payment amount.

Add a class
If you add a class to your schedule prior to when the first payment is due, your payment plan will re-adjust leaving three (3) equal payments. If you add a class after the first payment is due, the additional fees will be reflected after 6 a.m. the following day in your remaining payments.
