Payment Plan Options
Wichita State University offers payment plans to help make paying your tuition and fees more manageable. Instead of paying your balance in one lump sum, eligible students can spread payments over the semester through monthly installments.
The standard semester payment plan is available only for the current term in which you are enrolled and becomes available once charges have been posted to your student account.
If you need to make payment arrangements for a prior semester, please contact Accounts Receivable/Student Accounts to discuss the Prior Semester Payment Plan.
Prior Semester Payment Plan
The Prior Semester Payment Plan is available to students and their authorized users to help pay the outstanding balance for one prior semester through monthly installments. Outstanding balances from any other semesters are not eligible for this payment plan and must be paid in full.
Students may choose either a 3-month or 6-month installment plan.
While enrolled in the Prior Semester Payment Plan:
- A financial hold will remain on the student account until the balance has been paid in full.
- Students may continue to register for future courses.
- Placement of the account with a collection agency may be delayed, provided all payment plan terms are met.
Important Information
- Students may not be eligible to receive their diploma until their account balance has been paid in full.
- If a scheduled payment is missed, the payment plan will be automatically canceled and cannot be reinstated.
- Transcript services will not be withheld because of a financial hold.
- Students whose accounts have already been placed with a collection agency are not eligible for a Prior Semester Payment Plan and must work directly with the collection agency to arrange payment.
