What is Student Early Alert System (SEAS) and what do I do if I receive an email alert?

Body

The Student Early Alert System (SEAS) is an electronic tool for instructors to give timely feedback to students regarding their academic performance in class. Using SEAS, your instructors are able to give you feedback on attendance, participation, assignments and exams in each of your current classes.

If you received an email from SEAS, it will list which instructor has concerns about your performance in one or more of the following areas:

  • Attendance
  • Participation
  • Assignments
  • Exams

If you receive and email regarding an instructor's concern about your attendance, participation, assignments or exams, we strongly suggest that you contact your instructor as soon as possible to discuss strategies to assist you. If you are unable to contact your instructor, we recommend contacting your department or college academic advisor.
