What kind of community outreach, non-credit, certificate programs and workshops do you offer?

Body

The Office for Workforce, Professional & Community Education (WPCE) is your link to University workforce training and professional development programs. There are several online and face-to-face courses and workshops available to members of the community on an ongoing basis.

Center for Entrepreneurship

Fosters and promotes entrepreneurial thinking through a wide range of academic and community programs.

Center for Management Development

Provides quality professional education to individuals and corporate clients in order to enhance careers and foster workforce development.

Community Engagement Institute

Promote best practices in organizations and communities interested in improving people’s lives, as well as fostering connections with community partners looking to create positive change.

Hugo Wall School of Public Affairs

Serves as the academic home for the Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree, Environmental Finance Center and Kansas Public Finance Center. Committed to providing service to Wichita, the surrounding communities and the region.

National Institute for Aviation Research

Provides research, design, testing, certification and training to the aviation manufacturing industry, government agencies, educational entities and other clients that can benefit from our services.

Public Policy & Management Center

Advance public good by strengthening people, organizations and communities. Provide expertise and support in research, talent development and community engagement.

University Conferences

Offer educational conferences and workshops for working professionals. Many of these offer continuing education credits for nurses, social workers, etc.

Community Education

These courses are open to everyone in the community and are personal enrichment classes.

Lifelong Learning

Credit courses for students 60+ years of age. These are offered off campus at facilities throughout Wichita.
