One benefit of Honors is the ability to enroll in classes on the first day of registration, as if you were in senior standing. This lets you have a better chance of getting into competitive courses that you want or need before they fill up. You do not have to meet with the Honors advisor before enrollment week to have this privilege. Enrollment for continuing students begins in early April for summer and fall registration and early November for spring registration.
