How and when will I be contacted about my financial aid offer?

Financial aid offers will begin to be processed from the date of the last completed requirement. For the 2026-27 academic year, financial aid offers are made for new, undergraduate incoming students beginning in mid-December 2025 and continue monthly. Returning and continuing undergraduate students must be enrolled for financial aid offers to be completed. July 1 is the priority financial aid enrollment date for the fall semester. After students are enrolled and provided with an offer, they will be reviewed weekly until the financial aid recalculation date of each semester.

If you have additional questions, you should contact the Office of Financial Aid.

How can I view and accept my awards online?

  1. Review your financial aid offer at mywsu.wichita.edu. Select the myFinances tab and then Financial Aid Dashboard under Financial Aid Links.
  2. Select the Offer tab to view and decide on your offer. You may accept a partial amount for each appropriate type of aid after selecting the drop-down menu under Take Action. Select Modify and then enter the modified amount in the space provided. Select Ok. Accepted loan amounts will be split equally between the fall and spring semesters.
  3. Select Submit.
    • All offers are based on available funding levels and are subject to change. Wichita State retains the right to revise, cancel, or withdraw offers if we are notified of additional aid resources for you or if aid is not accepted by the deadlines of each aid program.
