Dependent students
Dependent students who were not required to file taxes will not need to submit a tax return. It may appear in the Unsatisfied Requirements section of your Financial Aid Dashboard if you indicated on your FAFSA or verification worksheet that you did or will file taxes.
Note: You may be required to submit copies of your w2s or wage & income transcript if you had earned income but did not earn enough to be required to file taxes.
Independent students and parents (of dependent students)
Independent students and parents of dependent students who were not required to file a tax return will need to complete the Confirmation of Non-Tax Filing status form to confirm how they supported their family during the tax year being reviewed.
