How do I find a course description?

To find a course description online, you can search the online Schedule of Courses:

  1. Log into your myWSU portal
  2. Go to myClasses tab
  3. Click on Student Registration (Banner 9) located in the Registration Tools box

  1. Click on Browse Courses or Browse Classes Offered in Term
  2. Select appropriate Term and Continue
  3. Click in the Subject box and begin typing a subject or scroll to find it
  4. Type in a Course Number and click Search (leave blank if you want a list of all courses in that subject)
  5. Click on the underlined Course Title
  6. Click on Course Description

NOTE: If the course(s) you are searching for is not listed in the online schedule of courses for a particular semester, it may not be offered for that semester. You can view course descriptions through the Wichita State University online course catalog at https://www.wichita.edu/services/registrar/catalogs/.
