Campus visits are an optional, personalized way for students to visit Wichita State University. They are a great way for students who are still in the deciding phase of their college search to visit and explore campus. During these visits, students have the opportunity to talk to current students, meet with an advisor, and get a feel for what it’s like to be a Shocker. All undergraduate domestic students are required to attend an orientation program after being admitted but before attending WSU. These programs are coordinated by the Office of First Year Programs and occur prior to the start of the semester. Visit wichita.edu/orientation for more details concerning the orientation, advising and transition process. Enrollment does not take place at orientation or campus visits. In order to enroll, students must meet with an academic advisor prior to the start of the semester.
