Wichita State University does not offer a book voucher program. You may use your excess financial aid to purchase books, but you may not purchase your books on credit via your Student Account.
You may purchase your books and supplies anywhere you choose. Some companies, such as the Shocker Store, offer many affordable textbook options, including textbook rental. The Shocker Store is located on the first floor of the RSC (Rhatigan Student Center) on the WSU main campus.
The University also offers the following resources:
- Wichita State University Library -
- Course Reserves - Contains materials in high demand, generally those needed for class assignments. These materials are placed in Reserve on temporary basis by instructors for courses being taught that semester.
- Textbook Collection - The aim of the collection is to assist students who may not be able to afford textbooks or who may be delayed in purchasing them. Textbooks may be checked out to currently enrolled WSU students for two hours. Textbooks are designated as library-use only, they may not be taken out of the building.
