The WSU Office of Financial Aid is required to notify students of their student loan exit counseling responsibilities any time a student drops below half-time enrollment or has a degree pending with the University. Exit Counseling is similar to the Entrance Counseling you received when you first completed your Master Promissory Note. This learning opportunity provides information about your rights and responsibilities as a borrower, including information about various repayment plans and deferment or forbearance options that may be available to you if you are unable to make a payment. If you are enrolled at least half-time, you may need to notify your student loan servicer. Your loan servicer information is available at studentaid.gov.
