Students may petition for exceptions to rules and regulations as stated in the Wichita State University Catalog. You must begin the petition process by consulting with an academic advisor in your college of enrollment. There is a separate exceptions process for International Undergraduate Admissions through the International Education Office. There is also a separate exceptions process for Graduate students through Graduate School.
To view information about undergraduate student petition guidelines, deadlines and forms, visit our Exceptions to Catalog Regulations website.
Grade appeals are not a part of the exceptions process, and are handled by the Court of Student Academic Appeals. Forms and instructions for the grade appeal process are available at wichita.edu/policiesprocedures (See 8.20 Court of Student Academic Appeals).
