How do I apply or reactivate as a returning adult student?

Former students
Former Wichita State University students need to reactivate your file with the Registrar’s Office to be admitted. There is no charge to reactivate your file. If you do not have or do not know your myWSU ID and password, you will need to complete the WSU Secure Access process.

New students
Complete these steps

  1. Submit an application for admission and application fee.
  2. Submit necessary academic records (see chart below).

If you have 24 or more transfer hours:

Students with 24 cumulative credit hoursfrom other accredited institutions must have each institution send a transcript.

If you have fewer than 24 transfer hours:

Students with fewer than 24 cumulative transfer hours* from accredited institutions must have each institution send a transcript and have their final high school transcript or official GED scores sent. Students without a high school diploma or GED are not admissible.

If you do not have transfer hours:

Students without any transfer hours must have their final high school transcript or official GED scores sent. Students without a high school diploma or GED are not admissible.

*Transfer GPA requirements: 2.00 GPA for criminal justice and general studies degrees.
