Per Federal regulations, you can voluntarily authorize that your Title IV Federal Aid (loans and grants) be used to pay your current term non-institutional charges such as parking tickets, library fines, late fees, breakage fees, returned check fees, application fees for payment plans or any charges not directly related to taking a class. Each new aid year begins with fall. This means a fall loan or grant can only pay up to $200 for a fine or charge incurred in a previous term.
See instructions on Am I required to complete the Title IV Authorization Form?
All previous semester balances should be paid in full prior to the start of the new semester. If you have an outstanding balance, we will add a hold on your account that may prevent you from several key activities such as: registration (add and/or drop), seeing unofficial transcript online and receiving diplomas.
