How do I request a copy of my transcript?

The easiest method to order your transcript is through the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC). This is the only way to have a transcript sent electronically. There is an additional $2.90 processing fee for using the online ordering system. Transcript requests made online do NOT require a photo ID. Please visit our website for additional information regarding electronic transcripts.

For additional information about delivery options, prices, online ordering and how to place your order for a transcript, please go to the Official WSU Transcript Request website.

Check the Status of your transcript request
You can check the status of your online transcript request through NSC, by visiting their website at https://tsorder.studentclearinghouse.org/TrackOrder/login.

If you did not order your transcript through NSC, you may contact the Registrar’s Office (see below).

Processing
All completed transcript requests received before 2 PM CST will be processed the day the request is received. Requests received after 2 PM CST will be processed no later than the next business day. Processing time does not reflect delivery time.

Please allow 2-3 business days for Priority Mail with the United States Postal Service to deliver the document to your institution.

Electronic transcripts are usually processed and delivered within the same day to the recipient.

For additional information on transcript delivery options, please visit: https://www.wichita.edu/services/registrar/transcripts/transcripts_DeliveryOptions.php.

Free Transcripts
There is a limit of five free transcripts in each of the below circumstances:

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate seniors sending a transcript directly to a graduate school, law school, medical school or certifying agency like AMCAS.
  • Undergraduate seniors and graduate students in their final semester before graduation. If you wish to wait until your degree has been posted to your record (not just grades), be sure to mark hold for degree on the request form.

These requests must be submitted by:

  • April 15 - fall graduates
  • September 15 - spring graduates
  • November 15 - summer graduates

Free transcripts will be sent by USPS First Class Mail or can be picked up at Jardine Hall Room 117. These transcripts cannot be ordered through our online ordering system (National Student Clearinghouse). Be sure to mark “Hold for Degree” on your request form. Request forms can be sent via mail, email or fax to the Registrar’s Office. Please write “Free Transcripts” at the top of the form (delivery only fees will still apply).

Holds
Owing the university will no longer restrict a student from accessing their unofficial transcript, nor stop them from obtaining an official copy of the transcript.
