If a course is cancelled by the University, you should receive notification from the department offering the course. You will not be automatically dropped from the course at the time of cancellation and have the following options:
- To drop the cancelled class and replace it with another, please click here for instructions.
- If it is within the 100% refund period and you only wish to drop the cancelled class, please click here for instructions on how to drop or withdraw.
- If the 100% refund date has passed, you will need to contact the Registrar's Office for information on how to withdraw from the class and not have it appear on your academic record.
- If you do not drop the course, you will be administratively dropped by the Registrar’s Office no later than the 20th day of classes.
Helpful Information:
- If you have financial aid, you will want to contact the Financial Aid Office to see how this may impact your aid.
- For help in determining what course or courses to add in place of a canceled course, you should contact your academic advisor.
- You are eligible to receive a 100% refund for all course related costs for the cancelled class. Please contact the Accounts Receivable Office for more information.
