Description
TeamDynamix is a tool that enables Wichita State University Colleges and Organizations to receive, monitor, work and track all requests for service and has a rich Knowledge Base of articles to assist in "How To" get services. This tool is located in the cloud and is available from any Internet Connected computer world-wide. This article is written for the beginner and covers how to log in and access the features of TeamDynamix.
Resolution
- Open an Internet browser of your choice such as Chrome, FireFox, Edge, Internet Explorer or Proton.
- Copy or type the following URL into the address window: http://wichita.edu/ticket
- Look for the yellow arrow pointing to Sign On in the upper right corner.
- In the upper right corner of the page, click on the "Sign In" link
- In the User Name please enter the following: <myWSU ID>@wichita.edu. For example: A111B222@wichita.edu
- In the password field please enter your myWSU password
- Click on the "Sign in" button
- TeamDynamix will re-direct you to Duo for second level authentication. If you experience authentication problems with Duo, please contact the help desk 316-978-HELP (4357)
- Once successful login is accomplished, you may start using the Client Portal for entering tickets.
- Search is fastest way to find what service you are looking for: enter key words and click on search.
- Also available are Services, My Approvals, Project Management tasks, Ticketing Tasks, requesting assistance or browsing the Knowledge Base
Tip: Another longer URL gives more options on sign in at http://wichita.teamdynamix.com. The first page, you have three options:
- Users - This is for those with a license. There are three levels of licenses: Technician, Enterprise, Administrative. All areas of this application require a log in. If you feel you need a license, please contact ITS PMO at ext 7575 or use the license request form at: License Request Form.
- Client Portal - This does not need a license to access many of it's features. However, there are parts of this that will require you to log into TeamDynamix. All current Faculty, Staff, and Students as well as students back 9 years are allowed to log into TeamDynamix providing their login information has not expired. If you have not logged into any WSU network in the past 90 days, your credentials have probably expired. You will need to contact the Help Desk to renew your log in. The phone number for the help desk is 316-978-HELP (4357)
- Administrators - This area is restricted to the Wichita State TeamDynamix administrators.
- Logging Into the Client Portal. Some features are available without logging in but to log in follow these steps
- Click on the Client Portal button
- see above.
- Logging into the User Application. All functions of this application require sign in.
- Click on the User button
- In the User Name please enter the following: <myWSU ID>@wichita.edu. For example: A111B222@wichita.edu
- In the password field please enter your myWSU password
- Click on the "Sign in" button

- From this application (depending on your access level) you will be able to access the ticketing area, project area, My Work, Assets, People, and other areas. Most of these areas are covered in other knowledge base articles and can be searched through the Client Portal area.
- If accessing TeamDynamix through a public access computer, please ensure that you log - out when complete. TeamDynamix will leave an individual logged in for 12 hours and others can access your account if you fail to log out.
