How many hours can I transfer to Wichita State University?

There is no limit to the number of credit hours you can transfer to WSU. To receive a degree from Wichita State, you must complete the following:

  • 30 hours at WSU
  • 50 of your last 60 credit hours or 24 of your last 30 credit hours must be taken at WSU. Course credit earned at another university as an approved part of a WSU exchange or study abroad program (e.g., NSE, ISEP) is counted as WSU credit. Exceptions to this regulation may be made by the university exceptions committee.
  • 45 hours of upper-division work (course level 300 and above) which can include hours earned from WSU or another four-year college

You can check these requirements in Degree WorksUndergraduate Catalog, or consult your academic advisor to confirm you meet all graduation requirements.
